Shipping Policy

Our Shipping Policy

Most Products Shipping:
The order process begins as soon as we receive your order. Items that are in stock, will be shipped as soon as your payment is cleared, and the address is verified.  Our small business takes care to make all herbal blends, spices, and body care products in small batches to ensure quality, freshness, and potency. However, once shipped, arrival times will vary depending upon your location and the shipping carriers handling procedures.  We ship USPS and try to get the product to you in less than 7 business days.

If an item is not in stock, we will notify you via email and it will ship as soon as it becomes available. Orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding observed holidays within the United States. Typically, it takes 3 business days for an order to be processed and shipped.

Locating Your Address:
If you know your address or mailbox or front door is hard to find, please leave a note on the best and best way to find it.

Sea Moss Gel Shipping:
Sea moss is a perishable product and does not contain preservatives. Therefore, we freeze the sea moss gel before shipping to try and preserve its integrity. Thus we ship the frozen sea moss gel on Mondays only. Based upon the shipping distance and carrier conditions, the sea moss may or may not be frozen when it arrives.

Theft and Lost Packages:
Path of Life Healing Center does not take responsibility for stolen or lost packages once they have been labeled “Delivered” by the post office carrier. You will have to submit a claim to the post office carrier prior to requesting a replacement.

To summarize, the sea moss gel is allowed to freeze before shipping out on Mondays to minimize sitting and heating up in a mail facility over a weekend.

International Shipping:
Generally, buyers pay additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. These fees are not included in the purchase price or shipping costs and these charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please understand that this is standard practice among e-commerce stores and other retailers. We recommend checking with your country’s customs office to determine the specifics of the additional costs. In addition, contact your customs office to learn about specific restrictions, licensing, or special provisions on the import of your goods.

We create the shipping label and fill out the commercial invoice and other customs forms to expedite customs clearance. In these documents, we include a full description of the goods (i.e., what it is, what it’s used for, the ingredients and the country of origin) and the value of the goods. If, however, you are asked this information please make sure to include all details possible to reduce the risk of customs delays or holds impacting delivery.

We understand that each country has its own set of restrictions and regulations on herbal and dietary supplements and may require permits from the importer. These restrictions are out of our control. Be advised that we are not responsible for packages being held by the different custom or local authorities.
